Ongoing Offerings

In addition to introductory and advanced programs for members, the Shambhala Meditation Center of St Johnsbury offers a rich array of ongoing, weekly mindfulness meditation offerings free to the public. No prior meditation experience required to attend. Most programs offer meditation instruction upon request. All are welcome.

 Sunday Sitting – now online

Our aim is to encourage anyone who wishes to join with others to meditate and contemplate. Come and join with us on any Sunday morning for meditation practice and contemplation. Starting in March 2020, we are joining online for this practice  All are invited.  Meditation instruction is available. Attendance is free.

Sunday Meditation is on Summer Break.
There will be no zoom session on Sundays during the month of July.
We will be back in August!

Offered every Wednesday evening from 6 to 7:30 pm, this open house is a great introduction to the Shambhala Buddhist teachings and an opportunity to connect with other practitioners. Starting in March 2020 we’re offering this program online. It features half-hour meditation practice followed by a talk by one of our senior teachers and a discussion period. Meditation instruction is provided. Attendance is free and open to the public.
