Council Communications

The leadership Council of the Shambhala Meditation Center of St. Johnsbury meets monthly to address governance, practice, financial, membership and other business matters of the Center. Minutes from these meetings are posted in the ‘Documents’ section of the St. Johnsbury Community Room on the Shambhala Network. This site is accessible to members via their Shambhala login.

The Council also conducts Community Meetings as needed to get input from and involve the local sangha in important decisions affecting the Center. Minutes from these meetings are also hosted in the online St. Johnsbury Community Room.

Here are the steps to access the minutes:

Login to the Shambhala Network – https://shambhalanetwork.org/

– select the ‘My Groups‘ tab – you’ll see a list of any groups you are a member of.

– select ‘St. Johnsbury Community Room‘ – This Public Group is an open gathering place for people in the St. Johnsbury Shambhala Center.

– select the ‘Documents‘ tab.

• In the yellow bar below the Documents List title, you can choose the sort order (Newest, Alphabetical or Most Popular) and you can choose which category of minutes to display (All, Council Meetings, Community Meetings)
